Your purchase of any services offered on this website is subject to Terms & Conditions and by placing a booking for any of our services, you agree to be bound by them. The use of the website itself is subject to our Website Terms of Use. Use of your personal information submitted to or via the website is governed by our Privacy and Cookies Policy.

We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time by changing them on the website, although, no such change will affect any order you have already placed with us. 

MAKING BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

The website offers the facility to make bookings to clean your car depending on the choice of service you choose. Bookings can be placed either via email or via telephone. All bookings can be paid ahead of time or on the day of the appointment. All payments can be made by cash, Credit/Debit card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay (subject to availability) through the POS device. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any bookings. In the event that we make a change or cancel a booking, we will notify you by contacting the e-mail or phone number provided at the time the booking was placed. The service may exceed its scheduled time depending upon the service opted and on the condition of the vehicle.

You may check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order to us by clicking the button on the checkout page. Please do check your order before you submit it. After placing a booking, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your booking.  Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We are not obliged to accept your order and may, in our discretion, reschedule or decline to accept any order.

Online payment transactions are also subject to validation checks by your card issuer and we are not responsible if your card issuer declines to authorise payment for any reason. Please note, it is possible that your card issuer may charge you an online handling fee or processing fee. We are not responsible for this. Where payment is authorised, your credit or debit card will be charged as soon as you complete the checkout process.

CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

If you wish to change your order (for example, changing service or adding additional services to your booking), you should contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to try to help you, but please note that, due to availability and other constraints, we may not always be able to accommodate changes and we reserve the right to charge you an administration fee (which we will notify to you) if we do so. Nothing in this section affects your right to cancel your order 24 hours prior to the booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your booking with no charge for purchased services at any time prior to 24 hours of your booking. If you cancel your order 12 hours prior to the agreed booking, the customer will be charged a 50% of the agreed quote. To cancel your order, you must contact us, giving us your name, and address stating that you wish to cancel.

PRICES

Prices are as quoted on the Site from time to time. Prices include VAT but exclude any additional costs such as parking fees, Congestion Charge, etc, which will be automatically added to the total amount due. All prices and services can be found on the Company’s website and are in pounds sterling. The Company reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice. The customer must be aware that the final pricing of a service may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.

Where VAT does not apply, a price adjustment will be made, and a copy of your ex-VAT invoice will be despatched with your goods. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders which we have already accepted.

SERVICES INFORMATION

Whilst we have taken reasonable steps to depict services as accurately as possible through the photographs and other images featured on the website, the detailing (such as colour, pattern, and texture, etc.) you see on-screen will depend on your monitor and, as such, may not exactly reflect the actual detailing of a Product when you receive it.

Any information on the website regarding services, is included as a guide only. If you are in any doubt as to the extent of any service you require or have special requirements, we recommend that you contact us at info@olympussteamers.co.uk prior to placing a booking, and we will do our best to try to support you in your query.

In the event you are not satisfied with our service, please notify the company’s representative prior to leaving your premises to ensure you are fully satisfied with the work being done to your vehicle. In the event we leave your premises, we are no longer responsible for any issues and no refunds will be issued.

Please note that all services are subject to availability. It is particularly important that you place your order in advance to avoid any controversies. If, for any reason, we are unable to accept your order (for instance, because of insufficient time or a service has been discontinued), we will notify you by email or by telephone. If we do not accept your order, we will promptly give you a full refund. Where we accept your booking, we will be under a legal duty to provide the service to you.

CONTACT

Company may contact you with regards to any booking you have made. We may from time to time send you reminders regarding services we think that you might find helpful. You can opt out of such communications on the website or from the bottom of each email sent.

PICTURES

On some occasions, we make ask for your approval to take some photographs of your vehicle while you are receiving your service. Upon your approval, these photographs will be available for view on the Company’s website. If you wish us to remove your photograph, please contact us at info@olympussteamers.co.uk and we will promptly remove any photos of your vehicle.

We retain full, unlimited, worldwide copyright and other intellectual property rights in all photographs we take. They are supplied solely for personal display purposes and may not be copied, published, reproduced, or stored on any electronic retrieval system without our express written permission. 

If you consent to take pictures of your vehicle, you agree that you do so voluntarily and on the basis that you consent to the fact that your vehicle’s photo may be displayed on the company’s website and company’s social media profiles. 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Any complaints about our work will be considered unless reported prior to our operative handing you back your key and marking the job as complete.
  • You will be liable to us for any death, injury or damage suffered to our staff.
  • It should be noted that polish and other cleaning products can be slippery and extreme caution should be exercised when collecting your vehicle.
  • Old or non-original paintwork can be damaged in the cleaning process. All such defects shall be indicated by You to our staff prior to commencement of the cleaning process.
  • You are requested to deposit your valuables in a secure place prior to leaving the vehicle in the Company’s custody.
  • You confirm that you have a spare set of keys for the vehicle and that we shall not be liable for loss or damage caused to you or the vehicle by an operative accidentally losing the keys or locking them in the vehicle.
  • You have ensured there is sufficient parking space for the Company’s vehicle to safely park and proceed with the services booked.

OUR LIABILITY

We will perform the services selected by you from our service list with absolute care. Whilst we shall take all necessary steps to ensure reasonable care of your vehicle whilst in our custody (including without limitation where the vehicle is washed and cleaned), the company will not be liable for:

  • When you leave your vehicle with Us, you understand that you do so at your own risk. You must disclose to us all defects, damage, or weakness in the vehicle, known or suspected by you, which may be affected by the services prior to our commencing with any of our services.
  • Damage to the vehicle or any part of it, or any of its accessories or any of its content and/or damage to any other property, arising from, or in connection with our custody of the vehicle.
  • The Company accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage, however caused, resulting from or in connection with the seizure of the vehicle by the police, H.M. Customs & Excise or any person lawfully authorised to do so.
  • We have no authority to accept any valuables or other articles for safe custody and we will not be liable for any loss of or damage to any such articles which a customer purports to leave in the safe custody.
  • We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

BEHAVIOUR
The company or its representative(s)/employee(s) reserves the right to refuse to clean any car(s) they deem unfit, for whatsoever reason, and can refuse to continue if any person(s) behave in a manner which may be detrimental to any other person. In this event no refund will be given.

Child seats and booster seats must be refitted by you. We will not be able to refit seats under any circumstances.

Older vehicles may have weaker or perished materials and we agree to provide the services at your risk in respect of vehicles over 3 years old.

BREACHES OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If the customer commits a breach of these Terms and Conditions, we will have the right to terminate the booking and request to leave the premises immediately. A breach of these Terms and Conditions includes, without limitation, failure to comply with our instructions and health and safety guidelines. In the event of committing a breach of these Terms and Conditions, no refund of the fees been paid will be returnable to the customer.
